Captains Meeting and Season Dues – 05102012 – 7.15pm

BOARD MEMBERS AND TEAM REPRESENTATIVES:

The Captain’s meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 10 from 7.15 – 9pm. Please inform your team captains or vice-captains to be present.

As for MCA dues, please note the following:

- All season dues need to be paid in full by the captain’s meeting this Thursday (5/10).
- We will not be holding any checks or accept postdated checks for MCA payments. Such a check will be considered non-payment.
- Teams can pickup the 2012 season balls by contacting our Treasurer Mr. Lochan Samkaran (treasurer@minnesotacricket.com) or myself (vicepresident@minnesotacricket.com). Please bring a check of $243 when picking up the balls.
- If you are unable to attend the captain’s meeting, please make sure you mail the dues (check payable to Minnesota Cricket Association) to the treasurer at:

Regarding the Games
- All Bohanon games will start at 12:15 pm.
- For 2012, the sixth ground will be the ground adjacent to Fair Oaks. The new ground will be called Fair Oaks West and the old Fair Oaks ground is now Fair Oaks East.

Website updates this week

In preparation of the season, several updates will be made to the website this week. At times, some functionality will be limited or unavailable for a short period of time while we integrate the new stats system. A few cosmetic updates will also be applied.

Umpiring Seminar- May 1st

The Umpiring Committee is announcing an Umpiring Seminar on May 1st from 6-9pm. This Seminar will be for BOTH RETURNING UMPIRES FROM 2011 AND NEW UMPIRES. Please find the following documents pertaining to the seminar.

* For Review Questions: Attendees are required to find the answers on their own prior to arriving to the Seminar.

2012 Practice Matches

There are practice games this weekend.

1. All matches will be played as 20 Over games
2. Teams are responsible for providing their own umpires.
3. Care must be taken towards MCA property.
4. In case of inclement weather, no play shall occur.
5. Teams are responsible for all MCA equipment.

MCA Board Meeting – Saturday, April 21st 2012 – Mandatory Attendance

BOARD MEMBERS AND TEAM REPRESENTATIVES:

Notice is hereby given to convene for a MCA Board Meeting on Saturday, April 21st, from 12-3pm. Please find the agenda attached, Since this will be our second to last meeting before season kickoff, we have much to cover, as seen in the agenda. Therefore you or your team representatives are requested to be on time so that we can start the meeting promptly and cover the agenda in time. Thank you for your cooperation

- MCA Sponsors 2012
- USACA Elections
- Constitution Amendments Draft Review
- Member Profile for the New Stats System

The Second installment of MCA dues is to be paid at this meeting. Please bring a check for $750, payable to Minnesota Cricket Association.
